4. Paint and Material Selection
The customer may select the paint brand, product range, colour, finish, and other materials according to the project requirements.
Paint colours and finishes may appear slightly different depending on lighting, surface condition, screen settings, and the existing colour of the surface.
Where applicable, customers are responsible for confirming their final colour selections before painting begins.
5. Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation is an important part of achieving a good painting finish.
Depending on the condition of the surface, preparation may include cleaning, sanding, scraping, crack filling, putty application, primer application, or other necessary preparation.
Existing dampness, water leakage, structural cracks, salt deposits, or other underlying problems may affect the final painting result. Such issues should be addressed separately where necessary.
6. Additional Work
Any work that is not included in the original quotation and is requested by the customer may result in additional charges.
Additional work will be discussed with the customer before it is carried out wherever reasonably possible.
7. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be communicated in the quotation or service agreement.

The customer agrees to make payments according to the agreed schedule.
8. Project Schedule

- Informing us about existing damage, leakage, electrical issues, or other site conditions

- Making payments according to the agreed terms
Customers should inform MK Home Paintings about any special requirements before work begins.
10. Protection of Property
Reasonable care will be taken to protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and other property during painting work.
However, customers should remove or securely store valuable, fragile, or highly sensitive items before work begins.
MK Home Paintings shall not be responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, improperly stored items, hidden defects, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Quality and Workmanship
We aim to provide professional workmanship and complete the agreed scope of work according to industry-standard practices.
Minor variations in texture, colour, coverage, or finish may occur due to the existing surface, lighting, paint characteristics, environmental conditions, or other factors.
12. Warranty
Any warranty offered by MK Home Paintings will apply only to the specific work and period stated in the quotation or service agreement.
Warranty coverage may not apply where defects or deterioration result from:
- Water leakage or seepage
- Dampness or moisture
- Structural movement
- New cracks
- Poor underlying surfaces
- External damage
- Natural wear and tear
- Changes made by third parties

13. Cancellation or Rescheduling

Cancellation or rescheduling may be subject to costs already incurred for labour, materials, transportation, preparation, or other project-related expenses.
